Tsiferana Rakotoarisoa

Tsiferana Rakotoarisoa brings her experience in strategic planning and leadership to her work as Smile Train’s Program Manager for Madagascar. She has a bachelor’s in management and international trade and spent seven years forging and improving her English language skills at the University of Madagascar in Antananarivo.

Her passion for humanitarian work started in 2015 with Mercy Ships, where she volunteered to manage medical courses around West African countries for three years. She then returned to Madagascar to manage operations and supply for Mobile Hilfe Madagaskar (MHM), a nonprofit German Hospital NGO. There, she learned the value of humility and compassion, and the power a good healthcare system can have for her fellow Malagasies, especially those in need.
