A Mass Communication graduate with Upper Credit from Fidei Polytechnic Gboko in 2012, National Diploma with Upper Credit in Public Relations in 2008 from the same Polytechnic. Possess an online Certificate in Social Media for Health and Development in 2020 from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (Centre for Communication programs). Also earned a Certificate in Clinical Management from the School of Health Technology Abwa Benue state in 2014.
Positively oriented development worker with 10 years’ experience in Programming, Communications, Content Writing, Monitoring and Evaluation, Community Mobilization, Advocacy as well as Mentorship; successfully coordinated several medical outreaches providing free cleft lip surgery for over 3,000 patients across 12 states in Nigeria as the Program Officer for Oral Health Advocacy Initiative (OHAI) from 2011 to 2016; a non-profit organization with funding from Smile Train.
As the Field/Communications Officer for Jireh Doo Foundation from March to August 2020, Paul was able to achieve transparency and compliance with principles of identification of the poor and vulnerable households (PVHHs). He also achieved 100% target in 4 monitoring circles on data gathering using ODK collect and FGD and KII tools (a total of 7,815 beneficiaries). Facilitated media activities, news conferences, radio shows, jingles, adverts and also worked as a team member of the Communications Working Group (CWG) to developed IEC materials for the organization.
